Toll Group custom-built Nike warehouse in Melbourne’s Altona North was named Best Industrial Energy Efficiency Project at the National Energy Efficiency Awards for 2017.
Aqualuma LED Lighting is very proud to have been the lighting manufacturer chosen for the highbay lighting upgrade at the 18,000 Square metre specialised warehouse facility for Nike. The retrofit saw a total reduction of power savings use by 54%, which was achieved through comprehensive lighting designs and utilising Aqualuma’s Premium range of world leading energy efficient highbays.
Nike Pacific Outbound Manager Ian Black commended Toll for sourcing an effective, efficient solution and driving the result. “The change to LED lighting in our warehouse has been a great initiative and a real win-win situation. We have reduced our carbon footprint and our electricity costs while improving the quality of our lighting,” Mr Black said.
Aqualuma has now worked alongside Toll in numerous facilities in Australia and New Zealand and looks forward to further supporting Toll in their strive for smarter sustainable solutions.
