Car enthusiasts at heart Aqualuma LED Lighting directors Carl and Grant Amor have again partnered with Leigh Burgess Racing and Rod Salmon to become major sponsors of their new Mercedes AMGA45 race car for the 2018 Bathurst 6 Hour and also the Australian Production Car Championship.
After a successful 2017 Bathurst 6 Hour partnership with Aqualuma Racing which resulted in 1st in Class B1. The drivers Leigh Burges and V8 Supercars driver Jack Perkins drove the BMW 335i.
This year Leigh Burges is going for an outright win with the new Mercedes AMG A45 and will team up with co-driver Rod Salmon who is currently racing an Audi R8 in the Australian GT Championship.
“It’s the biggest and toughest race of the year for the Australian Production Car Series with over 60 cars starting the race on Sunday. I would like to thank the continued support from Aqualuma Racing who have made this race possible. After a successful test in the Mercedes AMG A45 I am confident and looking forward to taking on the mountain!” said Leigh.

The race will also be shown live on FOX Sports on Easter Sunday (April 1) with the live coverage commencing at 11:15am (local time) and continuing throughout the race until after its conclusion.
